Firm embeds can lock the terminal to a named Tradara theme. The preset is stored on your firm record, snapshotted when you mint an embed session, and applied inside the iframe after token exchange.

Available presets

Unknown values fall back to tradara. Custom trader themes are not supported for firm embeds.

Set via Backoffice

In Tradara Backoffice, open Firm Control, select your firm, and use the Embed tab. Choose an Embed theme, then save with your allowed origins.

Set via PATCH firm

Merge embed_theme_preset into firm metadata alongside allowed_embed_origins:
Requires firm admin write permission (staff JWT or a key with the appropriate firm-control scope).

How it is applied

  1. You set metadata.embed_theme_preset on the firm.
  2. POST /v1/firm-control/embed-sessions reads the firm metadata and sends theme_preset to auth when minting the bootstrap token.
  3. POST /v1/auth/embed/exchange returns theme_preset with the embed session.
  4. The terminal iframe applies that palette and locks Appearance settings for the embed session.
Changing the firm preset affects new embed sessions. Already-open iframes keep the theme from the session they minted until the trader reloads from your site.
