Balances - Tradara

The Balances service tracks every account’s running equity, cash, margin, and P&L. Snapshots are taken at GLOBEX session boundaries.

For live balance updates, subscribe to balances.updated on the Realtime WebSocket. The REST endpoints below are for hydration and point-in-time reads.

Field	Notes
`cash_balance`	Settled cash.
`equity`	`cash_balance + unrealized_pnl`.
`realized_pnl_today`	Realized P&L for the current GLOBEX session.
`margin_used`	Initial margin held against open positions.
`margin_available`	`equity - margin_used`.

User-scoped list (JWT-oriented)

GET /v1/balances?user_id={uuid}

Returns balances for every account linked to a user. This route is primarily called by the terminal under a user JWT. Firm API keys typically iterate accounts and call GET /v1/balances/{account_id} instead.
