Order groups link multiple orders so that filling, cancelling, or expiring one affects the others. Tradara supports three group kinds:

OCO behaviour

A partial fill on one leg proportionally cancels the other leg’s quantity.

Create a group

Body:

OTOCO bracket example

Entry: BUY LIMIT 1 @ 5800. On fill: SELL LIMIT 1 @ 5810 (TP) and SELL STOP 1 @ 5790 (SL), linked OCO.
Response:
Take-profit and stop-loss orders sit in PENDING_TRIGGER until the entry fills.

Get a group

Returns the group with all member orders and their current state.

Cancel a group

Cancels every non-terminal member.
These two routes are implemented on the Orders service but not yet present in the published OpenAPI spec.
Body:
Both orders must:
  • Belong to the same account_id.
  • Be on the same instrument_id.
  • Be in a non-terminal state.
  • Not already be members of a group.
Response contains the new group_id.

Create an OCO companion for an existing order

Given an existing order (e.g. a take-profit limit), create a paired stop-loss in a single call:
Returns the group_id and the new companion order.
