Working orders (SUBMITTED or PARTIALLY_FILLED) can be modified or cancelled. Terminal states cannot.

Modify an order

Only quantity, limit_price, and stop_price can be changed. Side and execution type are immutable — cancel and replace instead.

Request

Response

200 OK — the order enters MODIFYING, then returns to SUBMITTED with the new parameters once the venue acks.
Reducing quantity below already-filled quantity is rejected with 409.

Cancel a single order

Order moves to CANCELLING immediately, then CANCELLED once the venue acks. If a fill races the cancel, terminal status may be FILLED instead.

Cancel all working orders for an account

Cancels every order currently in SUBMITTED or PARTIALLY_FILLED on the account. Open positions are untouched.
Response:

Flatten an account

Cancels all working orders and closes all open positions with offsetting market orders. Use for emergency exits or end-of-session cleanup.
Response includes the cancel summary plus the close orders that were generated:

Close all open positions

Same as flatten, but does not cancel working orders. Use when you want to keep resting entries while exiting current exposure.
