Order errors

400 — validation

`code`	Meaning	Fix
`invalid_request`	Malformed JSON, wrong type	Validate body against the schema.
`invalid_execution_type`	`execution_type` not in the enum	Use one of the values in Order types.
`invalid_side`	`side` not `BUY` or `SELL`	—
`invalid_quantity`	Non-integer, zero, negative	Send positive integer.
`missing_limit_price`	Required for LIMIT / STOP_LIMIT / TRAILING_STOP_LIMIT	Add `limit_price`.
`missing_stop_price`	Required for STOP / STOP_LIMIT	Add `stop_price`.
`missing_trailing`	Required for TRAILING_STOP / TRAILING_STOP_LIMIT	Add `trailing_amount` + `trailing_type`.
`invalid_time_in_force`	TIF incompatible with execution type	See compatibility matrix on Time in force.
`invalid_expiration_date`	`time_in_force` is GTD but date is missing or past	Use a future date.

`code`	Meaning
`firm_key_not_permitted`	Firm API key denied for this route (rare on Orders).
`account_not_in_firm`	`account_id` doesn’t belong to your firm.
`account_disabled`	Account is suspended.

`code`	Meaning
`idempotency_mismatch`	`Idempotency-Key` reused with a different body.
`order_terminal`	Modify/cancel attempted on a terminal order.
`modify_in_flight`	Previous modify not yet acked by the venue.
`order_already_grouped`	Attempted to group an order that’s already in a group.
`instrument_mismatch`	OCO members on different instruments.

Returned when the pre-trade risk engine rejects an otherwise valid order.

`code`	Meaning
`risk_rejected`	Generic risk rejection; `error` carries the reason.
`lockout_active`	Trader is locked out (daily loss limit, manual lockout, emergency halt).
`max_position_exceeded`	Order would breach per-instrument max position.
`max_order_quantity`	Quantity exceeds per-order cap.
`daily_loss_limit_hit`	Account has hit its daily loss limit.
`outside_session`	Instrument is not currently tradable.

Risk rejections always include a free-form error message safe to surface to operators (not to end users without review).

`code`	Meaning	Retry?
`upstream_error`	Venue or downstream broker returned an error.	With backoff.
`venue_unreachable`	Tradara cannot reach the venue.	With backoff.
`service_unavailable`	Orders service is restarting.	With backoff.

Retries to POST /v1/orders must reuse the same Idempotency-Key.
